Sarah Murdough to present at Lawfully Managing Student Records Without Violating Privacy Rights Seminar.

 
April 2008 - Concord, NH: Sarah Murdough will be presenting in a seminar entitled Lawfully Managing Student Records Without Violating Privacy Rights. The seminar will be held in Manchester New Hampshire on May 19th.

Sarah will focus on "Taking A Closer Look At How Student Records Are Defined" (8:30-10:00 a.m.) and "The Family Education Rights & Privacy Act - FERPA" (10:15 - 11:30 a.m.). A brochure can be downloaded at http://www.nbi-sems.com.

Sarah Murdough is a partner in the Concord law firm of Sulloway & Hollis PLLC, where she concentrates her practice in the defense of medical malpractice and insurance coverage claims at the trial and appellate levels and the representation of clients before numerous administrative boards and agencies in connection with professional licensing and disciplinary issues. Ms. Murdough is also a member of the New Hampshire Council of School Attorneys and the National School Board’s Association Council of School Attorneys. She counsels and represents school districts on a wide variety of issues, including special education, student discipline, and the development of and amendment of cooperative and AREA plans. She earned her B.A. degree, magna cum laude, from Yale University and her J.D. degree, cum laude, from the University of Maine. Ms. Murdough is a member of the American, New Hampshire and Vermont bar associations and is licensed to practice in New Hampshire and Vermont.
