May 2008 - Concord, NH: Attorney Amy Manzelli received the 2008 Distinguished Alumna Award from the UNH Natural Resources Department in May. Attorney Manzelli was recognized for her contributions in environmental advocacy since graduating from UNH in 1998 with her B.A. in Spanish and B.S. in Environmental Conservation, including managing farmer's markets, teaching science, Peace Corps in Vanuatu, founding school gardens, and supporting biodiesel. Attorney Manzelli represents clients in environmental business and litigation matters. She also serves as the co-chair of the NH Bar Association’s Environmental and Natural Resources section and works with the Concord Chamber of Commerce to educate its Leadership Class about environmental issues. She has written and lectured on a variety of environmental topics. Attorney Manzelli received her J.D. and Master's in Environmental Law from Vermont Law School.
