June 2008 - Concord, NH: Jay Surdukowski has curated an exhibition of drawings at the New Hampshire Supreme Court by a former Chief Justice.
“Judicial Notice: the World Through the Eyes of Chief Justice Robert Peaslee” is the inaugural exhibition by the newly-founded Supreme Court Society – an organization working to promote civic education and New Hampshire’s legal heritage. Mr. Surdukowski is a founding trustee of the Society. The Judicial Notice show features three dozen sketches of lawyers and litigants from the early 20th Century, many of whose stories are recounted in the catalog Surdukowski co-authored with Michael Lewis of the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office.
