Sulloway & Hollis is hosting, in conjunction with the Hopkinton Rotary Club, a reception honoring the Concord area artists whose works have been selected for inclusion in the 2008 Hopkinton Rotary Calendar.
The 2008 Hopkinton Rotary Calendar will feature the selected work of artists who, working from photographs depicting actual events or scenes, have re-created the subject of the historical photograph using a medium of the artist’s choice. Previous years’ editions of the Calendar have been enthusiastically received, and have drawn critical acclaim for both their elegance and utility. The reception will, in addition, present and honor the artists whose works will appear in the Calendar, as well as make the Calendar available for sale to the general public. Proceeds from sales of the Calendar, as in past years, will be devoted to a number of community causes including, among others, the award of financial aid to deserving high school graduates.
