Eleanor
H. MacLellan concentrates her practice in trial advocacy principally
in the areas of employment litigation and medical
malpractice defense and healthcare.
She has handled a variety of employment cases, including discrimination
claims under state and federal law, overtime, ERISA, wrongful
termination,
FLMA and equal pay claims. She also devotes a considerable portion
of her practice to advising both employees and employers, and
negotiating
out-of-court resolutions to employment disputes. Eleanor has extensive experience representing providers including hospitals, nursing homes and outpatient centers before the New Hampshire Health Services Planning and Review Board.
Ms. MacLellan has been listed in The Best Lawyers of America
since 1991 and is past Chair of Sulloway’s Management Committee.
Ms.
MacLellan graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Ohio
Wesleyan University in 1973 and from Franklin Pierce Law Center
in 1981.
