Bill Pandolph William D. Pandolph
William D. Pandolph joined the firm in 1988 and has more than 20 years of experience handling employment and benefit matters, including defense of ERISA and non-ERISA benefit and fiduciary breach, wrongful termination, Title VII, ADEA, ADA, and FMLA claims. He represents several major life, health and disability insurance companies in New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, and Vermont. He also represents employers, employee benefit plans, health maintenance organizations, third-party administrators and plan fiduciaries. He has successfully defended cases for such entities before state and federal trial and appellate courts both regionally and nationally, the New Hampshire Human Rights Commission, the EEOC, and in arbitration proceedings. Mr. Pandolph is an editor of the New Hampshire Employment Law Letter, a monthly newsletter designed to keep New Hampshire employers in both the public and private sectors up to date on developments in employment and labor law, including employee benefits. He has lectured on ERISA issues for the New Hampshire Bar Association and the National Business Institute. Mr. Pandolph is an active member of the Life, Health, Disability, and ERISA section of Defense Research Institute and the Select List of life, health, and disability insurance lawyers. He helped to draft a procedural rule for ERISA benefit denial cases for New Hampshire's federal court. |
