Kevin O'Shea
Kevin O'Shea is an Associate at Sulloway & Hollis. Since joining the firm in 2005, he has concentrated his practice in the area of commercial litigation, including contract disputes, construction claims, real estate litigation, and commercial collections. He also handles matters concerning Internet issues, including privacy, copyright infringement, and domain registration disputes.
Additionally, Mr. O’Shea manages a growing entertainment law practice, including trademark, copyright, celebrity endorsement, book publishing, music performance, and music licensing matters. Prior to entering law school, Mr. O'Shea worked for more than 10 years as a musical agent and manager for Emmy® and Grammy® nominated artists, and draws upon that experience and familiarity with entertainment law in advising clients in that area.

- After close of evidence and upon consideration of written briefs, court directed verdict for contractor in a construction defects case
- After trial on the merits, received defendant’s verdict for national bank in the face of breach of contract and fraud claims brought by former employee of bank’s borrower
- After briefing and oral argument, obtained dismissal of frivolous and malicious claims seeking $25M against property owner and $25M against property owner’s representative
- Negotiated terms for licensing of musical recordings with major direct marketer of music in the European Union.
- Spearheaded institution’s successful efforts to have unwanted photographs and commentary removed from a Facebook page maintained by institution’s former client
- Working with co-counsel, obtained ex parte temporary restraining order preventing former employee from utilizing or exploiting domain name of former employer
- At Pierce Law, Mr. O’Shea was the recipient of the Slutsky Scholarship, and was the Pierce Law recipient of the ALI-ABA Scholarship and Leadership Award
