Irvin
D. Gordon concentrates his practice in the area of commercial
litigation,
including contract litigation; employer-employee disputes; unfair
trade practices litigation; stockholder, corporate and partnership
disputes; intellectual property litigation (patents, trademarks
and copyrights); environmental claims; securities litigation and
arbitration; insurance coverage disputes; real estate litigation;
and professional negligence claims. Mr. Gordon is Leader of Sulloway’s
Commercial Litigation Group.
Mr. Gordon is a founding member and former Chairman of the Business
Litigation Section of the New Hampshire Bar Association, and has
been included in The Best Lawyers in America in the Business
Litigation area. He has been a member of the Ethics, Continuing
Legal Education and Fee Dispute Resolution Committees of the New
Hampshire Bar Association.
Mr. Gordon graduated from Amherst College in 1967, and studied as
a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Grenoble, in Grenoble,
France, in 1967-1968. He graduated from Harvard Law School in 1971
and, following service in the United States Army, practiced in Boston
with the firm of Bingham, Dana & Gould, where he was a partner
in that firm’s litigation practice. Mr. Gordon joined the
firm in 1983.
Mr. Gordon is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts
in Massachusetts and New Hampshire and in the First Circuit Court
of Appeals.
