Our Practice
We advise clients on all areas of employment law, ranging from prudent practices to development or interpretation of employee handbooks and employee policies. We investigate discrimination and harassment claims.

When necessary we also litigate claims before federal and state administrative agencies through out New England. We frequently appear before state and federal courts in connection with wrongful discharge, wage and hour matters and related litigation.

In the nonunionized arena, we work with clients to keep them that way. We advise contract administration, negotiations and grievance and arbitration matters.

We design and implement retirement plans and employee benefit programs of all types and when necessary defend ERISA and other claims based upon benefits issues. We have a special expertise working with medical groups, hospitals, municipalities and school districts.

Our Strength
Our problem solving team, with more than a hundred years of collective experience, sets us apart in the legal marketplace. At the front end, we develop strategies and minimize the risk of litigation and exposure for our clients. Several attorneys on our team have been named among The Best Lawyers in America; and one elected as a fellow to the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.

Our Success
In many instances, we function as in-house labor and employment counsel, addressing our client’s daily challenges in today’s complicated and risky employment and labor environment. Clients choose us because we successfully help them avoid claims as well as resolve claims brought against them.
