Michael P. Lehman devotes his time to litigated matters and health care law. He represents hospitals, including the largest provider of medical services in New Hampshire, and health care practitioners in the defense of medical malpractice cases, as well as advising them on credentialing, risk management, quality assurance, regulatory, licensing, and other issues. Mr. Lehman is Leader of Sulloway’s Medical Malpractice and Physician Advocacy Group. Mr. Lehman also specializes in the defense of aviation litigation and represents manufacturers and marketers in product liability cases involving drugs and medical devices.
Mr. Lehman advises the New Hampshire Medical Society as well as many hospitals and health care organizations, and frequently lectures to both attorneys and health care professionals on various aspects of health care law and medical malpractice prevention and litigation. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a member of the Defense Research Institute, the American Society of Medical Association Counsel, the American Health Lawyers Association, and the American Board of Trial Advocates.
Mr. Lehman has been listed since 1995 in The Best Lawyers in
America in the Personal Injury and Civil Litigation category. He is also listed in
Chambers USA: A Guide to America’s Leading Lawyers for Business as “genuinely outstanding in court.”
Mr.
Lehman graduated from Williams College in 1972 and from the University
of Virginia Law School in 1976.
