Peter F. Imse joined the firm in 1977 and practices real estate, municipal, and corporate law with concentrations in zoning and land use planning, title insurance, commercial finance, condominium law, tax-exempt municipal finance, and small business and non-profit organizations. Mr. Imse is Leader of Sulloway’s Real Estate, Commercial Finance and Land Use Group. He is an issuing agent for two leading title insurance companies.

Mr. Imse's practice has recently included the representation of: the municipal owner of a 1,300 acre commercial landfill in connection with acquisition financing and operations; a developer of large scale retail centers, and a "big box" retailer, in connection with local land use permitting; a large non-profit organization in connection with operations, contracts and land use issues; and a large municipality in connection with public-private partnership development projects.

Mr. Imse is a past Chairman and present member of the New Hampshire Bar Association Ethics Committee and has served on the New Hampshire Bar Committee charged with drafting and amending the New Hampshire Rules of Professional Conduct. He is a past Chairman of the New Hampshire Bar Association's Continuing Legal Education Committee and was the recipient of the 1988 New Hampshire Bar Association President's Award for Distinguished Service to the Association. He has also been a past President of the Merrimack County Bar Association and is a past member of the Havenwood Heritage Heights Medical Ethics Committee. Mr. Imse has been selected to be included in The Best Lawyers in America since 1999.

Mr. Imse is the Chairman of the New Hampshire Health and Education Facilities Authority, a member of the Board of Corporators of Merrimack Bancorp, MHC, past Chairman of the Town of Bow Planning Board, past President of the Bow Rotary Club and is the Town Moderator for the Town of Bow.

Mr. Imse graduated from Lawrence University in 1974 and from the University of Michigan Law School in 1977.
