R.
Carl Anderson has practiced law with the firm since 1978. His practice
covers estate planning for individuals, business succession planning,
bank regulatory matters, public
utility finance and real
estate.
Mr.
Anderson has acted as Adjunct Professor for Wealth Transmission (Federal Transfer
Taxes and Estate Planning) at Franklin Pierce Law Center in Concord.
His drafting experience developed in connection with
public utility financings and consumer financial services transactions
makes him particularly skilled in preparing complex estate planning
instruments. Mr. Anderson has extensive experience with financial institution regulations and consumer finance matters. He assists a national clientele on
commercial and consumer finance matters.
Mr. Anderson graduated from the University of Iowa, with highest
honors, in 1971 and from Harvard Law School in 1974. He served as
a Judge Advocate in the United States Air Force from 1974 to 1978
and was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal.
Mr.
Anderson is a certified Lay Speaker in the New England Conference
of the United Methodist Church and chairperson of the trustees of his
local church. He is a past president of Friends of Concord Swimming and former
member of the Concord YMCA program committee.
Mr.
Anderson is admitted to practice law in New Hampshire,
Massachusetts, and Iowa.
