Practice
We are active in the following areas:
Purchase & Sales
We execute all types of purchases and sales of real estate
for both buyers and sellers. Our Members have handled simple land
transactions
and complicated commercial and industrial transactions. We negotiate
Purchase and Sales Agreements, search titles, negotiate easements,
issue title insurance, and conduct closings.
Leasing
We negotiate residential, shopping centers, industrial park
leases for both landlords and tenants.
Financing
We serve clients in the roles of both lenders’ and borrowers’
counsel for acquisition, development, expansion, and refinancing
of properties. Our lending clients include banks and insurance companies.
Bankruptcy
We
represent client interests in collection matters, foreclosures,
asset levies, and bankruptcy.
Tax-Exempt Financing
We conduct tax-exempt financing work for the Business Finance
Authority, New Hampshire Housing Finance Authority, and New Hampshire
Health and Education Facilities Authority.
Construction and Development
We are experienced in the full range of development projects
for residential subdivisions, condominiums, commercial and industrial
projects, and resort and vacation properties.
Permitting
and Approvals
We
negotiate and draft construction agreements, obtain the necessary
State and local permits and approvals required for projects, and
advise for overall project success.
Tax Abatement and Condemnation
We assist clients on all aspects of the ownership and operation
of properties including tax abatements and condemnation law.
Our
Strength
The members of our group are recognized
by lawyers and clients throughout the State as providing the
highest quality legal services. Two of the members of our group
have been selected as Best Lawyers in America in their respective
areas of practice, including tax abatements. Several of our members
are issuing agents for major title insurance companies. One of
our members has served on his town’s Planning Board and as a
Town Moderator. Other members have participated in the drafting
of relevant state legislation, including amendments to the Uniform
Commercial Code and land use statues, as well as local regulations
such as the City of Concord and City of Nashua Impact Fee Ordinances.
One of our members has a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering.
Two members of our group have extensive expertise in the area
of condominium law.
