Sarah S. Murdough concentrates her practice in the defense of medical malpractice claims and insurance coverage claims at the trial and appellate levels and the representation of clients before numerous administrative boards and agencies in connection with professional licensing and disciplinary issues. Ms. Murdough is also a member of the New Hampshire Council of School Attorneys and the National School Board's Association Council of School Attorneys. She counsels and represents school districts on a wide variety of issues, including special education, student discipline, and the development of and amendment of cooperative and AREA plans.
Before joining the Firm in 1995, Ms. Murdough served as a Law Clerk for the Superior, District and Family Courts of Vermont. Prior to entering law school, she served with distinction for six years in the United States Navy as an Intelligence Officer, leaving at the rank of Lieutenant.
Ms. Murdough holds an A.B., magna cum laude, from Yale University. Her law degree is from the University of Maine School of Law, where she was an editor of the Law Review and member of the Moot Court Board.
Ms. Murdough is admitted to practice law in New Hampshire
and Vermont.
