Community Leadership

Since our founding in 1852, Sulloway & Hollis has been a leader in legal, political, and community affairs in New Hampshire. Today, as a preeminent law firm in the region, we actively encourage our lawyers and staff to participate and hold leadership roles in community and professional organizations.

Sulloway lawyers serve on the Board of Bar Examiners, the Professional Conduct Committee, and the Rules Committee appointed by the New Hampshire Supreme Court and are also active in the American Bar Association, the New Hampshire Bar Association, and the New Hampshire Women’s Bar Association. In addition, Sulloway lawyers are members of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, the Defense Research Institute, Health Care Lawyers Association, and many other professional groups.

Through our active pro bono program, we also support our lawyers in providing pro bono legal services. In addition, Sulloway proudly supports the Campaign for Legal Assistance and other programs to provide legal services to the poor and disadvantaged.

In addition to our service to the legal profession, our lawyers are active in many business and community organizations, such as the Business and Industry Association, local Chambers of Commerce, and industry-specific groups. Sulloway lawyers also serve on the boards of many local charitable and non-profit organizations and have served on local school boards and other governmental agencies and boards.
