Brad Holt is a member at Sulloway & Hollis. Mr. Holt serves as trusted counsel to his clients, combining a 25-year legal career focused on litigation and dispute resolution, counseling, regulatory compliance and training, with significant experience as a senior operational leader with the military.
He has extensive experience defending medical and dental malpractice clients, hospitals, and skilled nursing/assisted living facilities. He has successfully litigated complex, multi-million dollar cases alleging wrongful death; wrongful life; birth injury; robotic, laparoscopic and open surgical injuries; pathology and radiology interpretations; professional negligence claims against mental health providers; and hospital and insurance credentialing disputes. He has also successfully handled toxic tort and environmental exposure claims (including CERCLA, MTBE/groundwater, coal tar, asbestos, lead paint, and mold claims); commercial and property damage claims; data breach and defamation over the internet; environmental and land use litigation; and insurance coverage disputes.
Mr. Holt began his law career in New Hampshire after five years of active duty as an officer on Navy destroyers in the Atlantic and Pacific. He stayed in the Navy Reserves, acquiring significant operational leadership with subsequent reserve assignments and returning to active duty multiple times for year-long assignments overseas with the Navy, NATO, and other multinational commands, retiring as a Captain in 2017. He joined Sulloway upon his return to New Hampshire after several years as a partner in the Chicago office of a national firm.
Admitted in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Illinois and based in the firm’s Concord, NH office, Brad has been elected by his peers for inclusion in “The Best Lawyers in America © for Medical Malpractice Defense, and he works with a broad base of clients in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
Brad and his wife Jody raised their three sons in New Hampshire, and they love that they can hike, ski, and/or surf, all in the same week.
