Matt joined Sulloway & Hollis as a Member of the firm’s Real Estate and Business & Corporate practice groups in 2025.
He represents individuals and entities, including buyers, sellers, private and institutional lenders, investors, builders and developers on a variety of residential and commercial real estate matters. His practice includes, but is not limited to, acquisitions, sales, title research, navigating title issues, issuance of title insurance policies, financing, leasing, land use, easements, development and construction. Matt routinely serves as a resource to real estate brokerages and agents and occasionally presents continuing education on timely real estate topics. He is also an authorized title agent for one or more national title insurance companies.
Licensed in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Maine, Matt has been involved in thousands of transactions spanning from north of Portland, Maine, throughout New Hampshire and into central and eastern Massachusetts, including Boston, Cape Cod and Nantucket, with a heavy focus on high value transactions along the seacoast of all three states.
Matt is consistently sought after by his clients and referral partners for his thoroughness, his ability to navigate complex issues and his skill at negotiating contract terms and provisions that mitigate risks, promote collaboration and drive desired outcomes.
Prior to joining the firm, Matt was a partner in a smaller, local firm, and also led a real estate brokerage with over sixty agents. Matt has a passion for aviation and holds a private pilot certificate for fixed wing aircraft. Throughout law school, Matt held several positions within the aviation industry including in flight training operations, private jet charter brokering and airline operations. Matt also interned with the Regional Counsel for the New England Region of the Federal Aviation Administration.
Outside of work, Matt is an involved member of his community and is currently serving as a member on his local school board. He enjoys golfing, traveling and spending his free time with his wife Shannon and their three children.
