Ms. Murdough is a skilled Insurance lawyer representing Insurance Companies in New Hampshire and Vermont coverage disputes. With extensive experience in a wide range of policies, including Commercial General Liability (CGL), excess, umbrella, commercial property, homeowners, auto, and other specialized coverages, Sarah has developed a deep understanding of the complexities and nuances of insurance law. With a keen eye for detail and a strategic approach, she analyzes insurance policies, identifies coverage issues, and provides practical counsel to help insurance companies navigate these complex legal matters.
Her healthcare clients rely on her to provide comprehensive guidance and help them navigate complex administrative, regulatory, and litigation matters. She represents hospitals and healthcare providers in medical malpractice actions at the trial and appellate levels and before administrative boards and agencies in connection with professional licensing and disciplinary issues.
Her extensive expertise offers healthcare clients valuable counsel in a wide variety of areas. She often advises clients on best practices, credentialing and privileging, risk management, and privacy and security, ensuring compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). She actively assists clients in formulating policy statements in these areas and leverages her knowledge and experience to ensure effective and well-crafted policies.

Sarah obtained her Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from the University of Maine School of Law, where she graduated cum laude. Prior to law school, Sarah distinguished herself academically, graduating magna cum laude from Yale University.
Before joining the firm in 1995, she served as a Law Clerk for the Superior, District and Family Courts of Vermont.
A proud veteran, Lieutenant Murdough served her country as an Intelligence Officer in the United States Navy.
