Jay Surdukowski Speaks at Conference on New Hampshire Campaign Finance Law
Jay Surdukowski served on the panel for a day-long gathering of attorneys and organization leaders hosted at the Firm to discuss campaign finance issues facing 501 (c)(3), (c)(4), (c)(5), and (c)(6) organizations. Such a large gathering of campaign finance lawyers and organizations has not occurred in New Hampshire before.
Mr. Surdukowski’s talk focused on the evolution of campaign finance enforcement in New Hampshire since 2014. The last four years have seen a sea of change in the state of the law both locally and nationally in the long shadow cast by the Citizens United decision and subsequent case law, administrative decisions, regulations, and statutory changes.
The day’s agenda included presentations by local and national campaign finance experts and collaboratively working through real-world cases studies in this constantly changing and complex area of law.
