Rob Whitney appointed to Boston Community Preservation Committee.
The Boston City Council unanimously appointed Sulloway Member Robert Whitney to a three-year term as one of four public citizen members of the Boston Community Preservation Committee. The Committee comprises nine Boston residents who make recommendations to the Mayor and the City Council about using Community Preservation Act funds for projects benefitting affordable housing, historic preservation, and open space and recreation.
Earlier this year, Boston Mayor Michelle Wu and the Committee announced the approval of 56 new projects totaling over $40 million.
