Peter Imse Reappointment to the Board of Directors of the NH Health and Education Facilities Authority

Peter F. Imse, Esq. was recently reappointed by Governor Maggie Hassan and the Executive Council to another five year term on the Board of Directors of the New Hampshire Health and Education Facilities Authority (“NHHEFA”). NHHEFA issues tax exempt bonds and makes direct loans to provide low-cost financing to educational and health care institutions throughout the State of New Hampshire. Mr. Imse has been a member of the Board for 35 years, and has been the Chairman of the Board since 1989. Mr. Imse was first appointed to the Authority Board by Governor Hugh Gallen in 1981 and was subsequently reappointed by Governors John Sununu, Judd Gregg, Steven Merrill, Jeanne Shaheen, John Lynch and most recently Maggie Hassan.

Peter Imse practices real estate, municipal, and corporate law with concentrations in zoning and land-use planning, title insurance, commercial finance, condominium law, tax-exempt and historic tax credit financings, and small business and non-profit organizations. He is the Co-Chair of the Firm’s Real Estate, Development and Environmental Practice Group.
