Sarah Murdough and Beth Catenza Present to Risk Managers

Attorneys Sarah Murdough and Beth Catenza spoke recently to a meeting of the Risk Managers and compliance staff of the members of the New England Alliance for Health, a group of hospitals in Massachusetts, Vermont, and New Hampshire working together to improve the quality of healthcare. Ms. Murdough spoke on the unique privacy and human resource issues questions which can arise when it is learned that a medical provider is impaired in the course of a physician-patient relationship. Ms. Catenza presented on the new rules governing New Hampshire opioid prescribing, including potential risk management strategies for effective implementation of the intricate new requirements.
